The use of the adhesion promoter is critical on this type of plastic. Perhaps your shop neglected this step.

I will try to remove myself and do it myself. Sad part is I have it holding on with duct tape right now

I had a glass guy who sub-contracts for Ford do mine. He did use the black stuff pascal is talking about.
So far, no problems and my car unfortunately has to sit outside in the heat, BUT I do park it in the shade with a car cover as well as the windows rolled down on sunny days.

You gotta either use what Marcello sends you with their install package or have a pro install it. I got the kit but decided to go with the pro glass company my dealer uses. They came and installed them in less than an hour. They told me the stuff they use is what the factory uses and is better than the 3M stuff. They had a motorized squeeze gun that spread a thin, tall bead that would keep the louvers fluch but would spread out thick for best contact. If anyone in SOCAL decides to have them installed, give me a buzz and Ill send you the info. Installed under a 100 at your location.

You should be fine with the promoter. I asked over and over to the installers if they need to use my promoter, they just looked at me and said, let us do our job. Our stuff is a whole different grade than what you have. Apparently its much more heavy duty and premixed in their tubes.
