Default Help with Light Tint.

I plan on having my headlights smoked and I don't know which percent to go with. These guys have 35% tint which is the dark smoke and 50% which is the lighter smoke. I have HID's in my car right now, so I don't which way to go.

As of now, I'm going for the black out look on my front end with lights. Here's a picture of it. (Sorry for big picture) JFYI - I have the Black Eleanor Center Foglight Grill, not the stock.

And if this helps, my tail lights.

What do you guys think?

50% would produce the look you desire and still let 50% of
the transmitted light thru. 35% is kinda steep for headlights.

Got cactus?

That is what I'm thinking. I live in Arizona, that's why you see some cactus out here. Hopefully I'm moving to California next year though. Thanks for your input buddy. Anybody else agree or has an opinion about this?

I installed 50% on mine and am happy with it, it looks darker on than you would think, but havent noticed much of a decrease in visibility while driving at night.

Hey. I ordered headlight tint from rvinyl.com. I can't even remember if I got dark smoke or light smoke. Oh well, they look good on my white Stang. They have a blackout tint also. Here is a link...and I'm sure it'd be cheaper than having someone at a shop do it for you. http://www.rvinyl.com/headlight-tint...stang-2005.htm

It is illegal to black out your headlights in CA. I would say you could do 50% and be good with it!!

Im going to be doing mine in a couple of weeks

well if your gonna say that, just to let you know.... changing your muffler is also illegal, so why mess with exhaust, right?

but as for the thread, i would also go with 50%, you still wanna see the road! haha and especially since u have a white car it'll appear darker than usual.
