I think 50% is great for the headlights, but my turn signals and fogs are way darker than that. I plan on getting 50% tint for my headlights and the rest 35% tint. I like the fact you have not noticed any reduction in visibility at night; that's good to know. Thank you for the information and the pictures (your stang looks great too).

My tail lights are spray painted professionally and it's definitely a good way to go. I will try to find where I got my tail lights from on eBay.

i have 35% headlights, 20% tail lights, red tint on the fogs with GTS covers on top, blackout all 4 corners, and custom 3rd brake light. and i use GTS covers all around for shows. the 35% on the headlights are not bad at all, maybe a little dimmer but not by much, if you have HID's shouldn't matter at all. the GTS covers are super dim at night.
headlights and tail lights are from ebay, blackout corners are from stangmods.

this is with the covers

a common complaint with tint and HID's is the heat gets trapped inside and cracks the head lights.
mine are fine, i have the stock lights. but have heard a few others with the problem.
not sure how dark their tint was.

Your 35% tint is not any darker than TheBocSez's 50% tint on his headlights. I thought 35% is darker than the 50% tint. If that's the case, then why is yours not darker than his? When you put your GTS covers on, they are a lot darker than his...

Yeah, I noticed that too. I guess we'll have to wait and see.
