Painted radiator cover
#11
1. Cleaned them real good.
2. Lightly sanded, some places had some nicks and scratches so I had to feather them out a little.
3. Painted with an adhesion promoter.
4. Primed with sandable primer 2-3 coats, this filled in the rough texture on the covers.
5. Sanded and then another coat of primer and sanded again.
6. 4 coats of the black.
7. 4 coats of clear.
It took me a weekend with having to let the paint dry. I sanded with 2000 grit between each coat of black and clear.
BTW, the red is vinyl pin stripes.

Basically the same thing I did. I had painted my bumper anyway, so I just used the leftover paint. Your looks good!

Wow! Those are sweet looking! I'm just a beginner, so nothing that advanced for me yet. Can I ask what one of those costs with all that detail?
Looks nice!
