Uhh oh.......

I didn't know you were supposed to cover anything....

I've been spraying down my engines for years....haven't had any issues with it since I sold my 72' Ventura.

ok, yea my paranoia kinda kicks in, ive been looking for a place to get my engine bay detailed. The only thing i could find was the do it yourself car wash.

Owner manual says to cover the air filter, fuse box, and battery.

I've been covering those up with plastic bags and spraying away with no problems.

Both my Stangs' engine bays have never needed a hose or high pressure wash since I've always wiped them down every time I wash the car.

However, I have high pressure washed my SUV engines. I usually cover the intake, alternator and fuse box also out of paranoia and then am very conscious of the pressure from the washer as far as what the spray is hitting. That darn thing of mine will slice wires if I'm not careful.
