Quarter Window Louvers - 3m tape question

Thanks 808 Muscle!
Stealth GT, I used the adhesive promoter packs and the alcohol packs that came with the kit. It was a bit warm and muggy in the garage and the 3M tape stuck very well!

The front corner on my driver's side ended up not sticick to my car, so I had to remove the 3M tape off of the louver by using fishing line and then used sand paper to get the rest off. I bought Super Duty 3M double sided tape from Home Depot ($15) and I also bought 91% rubbing alcohol from Walmart to rub down the car, where the louver stick. Hence, you must use 90% alcohol or higher in order for it to work. Once you do this, you should be fine!

After about 2 years, check it periodically. I have the same AM ones and getting on the freeway last week, noticed in my rear view mirror that my left louver was starting to flap slightly. I pulled over and pulled it off pretty easily. My right one was still on rock solid but I took both off as Im going to clean the area and reapply them.
I installed them about 2.5 years ago so they did last a long time.

I've heard it's a real pain getting the 3M tape off of the louvers. It took me over two hours to fix the corner and was a pain due to the lack of space I had between the louver and the car. Let me know how it goes!
