i am looking at an 81 mustang t-top car to possibly buy.. problem is a dumpster rolled into it and dented the door a little bit and shattered the driver side window. we called a juink yard to see what would fit .. they said it has to be an 81 or 82 t top mustang or capri.. they had 2 doors of these types listed, on was like $350 the other was like $150 and not too great of condition. none of them have windows. so that was useless..

my question is what windows will fit in the doors? do they have to be 81 - 82 t topped mustang/capri? or does any 79-93 window work? this is the driver side door window

well I have 83 stang my passager side door got pushed in. I got 86 mustang door put on it.

the guy said that only 81-82 doors are same, and they have to be ttoppped... how could i find out if the windows are the same?

called a few scrap yards and they say that 81-84 t-topped windows only will fit... that really sucks
