pbakhtar, you're new to the online forum layout aren't ya? I'll save you some time though. Does your '65 have matching numbers? And I mean ALL parts with matching numbers. If this 65 is a restore, then I don't see how it would lose it's value in any way, shape, or form.

But if this is a completely stock, parts matching vehicle and you want to change the original color, absolutely it's value will plummet.

You meant "Honey Gold" right?
Anyway, as long as you use a color available for that car back in 65, you won't hurt the value that much.
When you start to put Pearl Metallics and fancy tints, you better do a Restomod instead of keeping everything else original.
For some reasons, Restomod cars retain their value or in some cases, add to it when it's done tastefully.
The half way in between is what people don't like.
