I should have been a bit more specific. On the rears, do the Nitto's grip a lot better than the sumitomos?

Well I can't really compare since its different scenarios... Mainly because I went from a 255 Sumitomo to a 295 Nitto. I can tell you from driving around on a hot day the nittos will actually get sticky to the touch and the Sumitomos don't.
