Default foglights

09 gt and wanted to know what my options for fog lights were. i removed my fog lights tonight and tried using window tint, with no success, it would adhere to the curves of the light. AM sells the covers, but they sem wayyyy too dark for me , and i dont want the smoked halo ones. any place where i can get like a 35% tint on them? someone who sells lighter smoked covers? any thoughts would be great

You could have a shop do them for a few dollars.

Default Using Clear coat and a spray gun

If you know of a reputable body shop, you can have them tinted. I am a body guy by trade and I have been tinting headlights, tailights, fog lights, turn signals, etc. for friends and family for years. I sand them down with 400 grit wet, mix black base coat into PPG clear coat and apply as many coats as you like to get the tint you want. Once finished, wet sand, buff, polish, and you have beautiful lights that will last.

*WARNING* this is generally not for the Do-it-Yourselfer.

So that is how it is done! I wondered what the pint mix was to tint!

I found this website after seeing a thread on here about somked headlights and foglights. They have light smoked tint to put on. The kit does come with the fog light, head light and turn signal tint.
