Default Chrome tail light trim

I have a 07 Mustang and I'm wondering if any of you have purchased and
installed the chrome tail light bezels that stick on with 3M tape. If so, how
did it go? Like or dislike?

Thanks,

My car had them on it when I bought it. I actually like the look a lot. I added the chrome ring around the third tail light. It only took a few minutes. You just have to make sure the area is clean and take your time. They should come with alcohol pads to clean with.

Thanks teepee542.
Prev owner of my car put Borla Dual Exh, chrome, in place of the factory duals and with the Mustang Key circle being chrome, I thought the chrome bezels for the tail lights
and the 3rd brake would be a nice matching touch. I'm also thinking about a clear decal
I saw somewhere that you put over the 3rd brake light with the letters "MUSTANG".
In these times, I couldn't afford what I really wanted, so I got an 07 V6. I'm happy
with it and now that I'm an old F..., I'd probably just get in trouble with a high performance machine.

Thanks again,

Yep, just make sure you take your time, and prep the area where the 3M sticks on the taillight well. My previous set oxidized badly because they were bought cheap from a horrible company. Put on some new ones from americanmuscle.com and they're holding up very nicely. Gives those taillights some pop.

I love Vista Blue. I bought used and had to settle for Windveil Blue, but it looks nice.

I had the Chrome Tail light trim on my 08 Candy red for a while. I really liked it at first, but ended up taking them off.

I felt the chrome was a little too "bling, look at me" for my taste, and instead added the CDC deck lid panel + raxiom smoked tail lights.

It's all a matter of personal preference, and they came off easy too, so if you stick 'em on and decide later you want to change your rear end appearance, you can easily do so.

Thanks for the info, Biceps.
We all change. Old man like me, one minute I'd like to have the front to back, down the middle double stripes and the next I'd like the clean look and wish I didn't even have the
side stripes.
Oh well, there's always the lottery.

Also use adhesive promoter on the sticking surface and heat both the bezels and the surface before sticking them on. Makes them stick super strong so be careful!
