sequential tail harness..
AM will sell them on a big discount every few months or so.... I always think about the future for every mod. If I sell car, plug up factory sell the plug and play kit on ebay for $80. I would not get a splice in kit.
CDC and AM both get their stock from WebElectric.
You get what you pay for, so buyers should consider
the price to be a sign of their quality. I have cut a
few kits open and the cheap ones are just that, cheap.
The post mortums I have done on dead sequence kits
have all been on cheapy eBay kits.
Lawrence at WebElectric is on top of his game.
My Challenger sequence kit was complete from
start to finish. Its quite the install with 4 of
the bulbs located on the trunk lid.
Splice in kits vary as to their completeness.
Some require modification to one of the bulb
sockets and some actually give you the pre-wired
socket. Unless you two-stage heat shrink and solder
the connections like Ford does, you are rolling the dice.
And what do you do when they die?
Send them to me for a post mortum.
I sent my OEM harness back to my supplier for a $75
'core' charge effectively making my $150 PNP WebElectric
sequentials only $75.
ps while you have the taillights out, do yourself a big
favor and replace ALL the bulbs with Sylvania LongLife
bulbs so you wont have to remove those stinking assemblies
again for quite a long time...
