#1, no stripes on the hood scoop and the
stripes must go all the way down the bumper
to the ground like they do in #2.

The LeMans stripes like in #1 just dont do it for me.
Its like it was an afterthought and they ran out of vinyl
when they got to the edge of the hood and just called it good.

You forgot option #3, and thats just putting the stripe on top of the scoop and leaving the sides, front edge and rear edge blue. This makes the scoop stand out and lets you have the look your going for all at the same time.
