Unhappy Sequential Turn Signals

I install a pair of plug and play sequential turn signals the other day and they did signal(as a normal car all at the same time) however they did not come on in sequence. I sent them back to American Muscle and today received my new pair of sequential signal harness. Installed and same as the first pair. Didn't have any problems on my other Mustang 2 years ago. All stock lights. Anyone else had this issue before? Thanks!

Although I haven't experienced this you may want to verify the bulb connections/harness connections (which I am sure you did) and possibly replace the bulbs but I don't know why all 6 of them would be shot.

Maybe you have them in the wrong holes?
Define "they did not come on in sequence'...
Are you using all new bulbs (hopefully Sylvania
LongLife) in the harness? Are you testing them
before installation into the taillight housings?
Plug n play or splice in kits?
If splice in, did you use the IDC connectors (yuck)?
What brand is AM selling nowdays?
Drake?
WebElectrics?
Or some cheaper company?
Maybe some pics of the packaging and sequencers, please...
So we know what we are dealing with.

The best thing would be a video of the problem.

OP,

I'm terribly sorry to hear that you are having troubles with your sequential lights.

Do you have a digital camera? Can you snap some pictures of the installation and/or shoot some video of the problems you are experiencing?

If so, please do this and call our Parts Experts who would be glad to help you!

I hope this helps!

Please let me know if you have any questions/concerns in the future!

Good luck!

The lights are working now. May have been a short somewhere in the circuit. I'm clueless!!!!! I'll just keep monitoring the lights.

Thats just great.
Are you going to pay
someone to follow
you and 'monitor' their
proper operation?

Nothing worse than intermittent brake/turn lights...

Funny you say that! I had a friend drive my stang on Sunday while I drove behind in her vehicle to monitor and everything worked as it should have. Amazing! Thanks AM!
