I have a tungsten grey 06 GT and bought it with a CDC ductail spoiler that is connected to the trunk and a little bit on each side of the trunk. It is not bolted on but is connected by adhesive tape. My question is if I remove it will the paint that it is covering right now be darker due to not being exposed to sun light like the rest of the car has. I want to put on the Gt 500 spoiler but if it is all dark and retarted looking where the CDC spoiler was i might not do it. Any one know???

If that CDC spoiler was installed correctly than there will be 3 screws on each of the little sides and 4 across the back I believe. And it depends how long it was on the car. If it was only for a year than there would probably be a minimal difference in color.

yea i dont know much about the CDC spoiler, the guy i bough the car from said it was not bolted on but he also didnt know much about the car anyway. i looked in the trunk to see if i could see or feel the bolts i didnt see anything so i assumed that it was tape. Iv almost had the car for two years and do not know when the spoiler was put on. It doesn't look bad i just want the gt500 one on instead.
