My tint had scratches from going up and down. Probably from crap getting in there under the care of the previous owner. Make sure that whatever is causing it is fixed before you re-tint if you go that path.

05 - 07's for some reason did not put the fel on the door seals. Front windows only though oddly enough (I have a vert).. But.. the 08's do have the felt and they are the exact same as far as fitment goes.

So, I took myself upto my local Ford dealership and ordered drivers side and passenger side door seals.

The moleskin is $30 and the Ford factory seals are roughly $100. I went that route though because TacoBill is a hell of a better craftsman on things like that than I'll ever be. The place doing my tint is putting them on there for free so that was a bonus as well.
do u have those part numbers handy ??

Life lesson. ALWAYS order ford parts from Tousley. They have the best prices, period.

I bought the factory ford weatherstrip for the late model mustang. Don't remember how much it was but I know I didn't pay 100.00 for them. Did the install myself before I even had the windows tinted. Not one mark in them after a year.

I called several local tint shops about retinting my rear and front windows. Rear window looks likes bacon due to Louisiana heat and fronts being scratched due to lack of mole skin. None of them seemed to understand the mole skin issue, so I will follow TacoBill's mole skin install instructions before I take it in for the retinting. Big thanks to TacoBill!
