Default GT 500 splitter on stock GT bumper?

Hey everyone seen this done before, putting a gt500 splitter on a stock gt front bumper. My question is how hard is the install any real fitment issues, and overall look/quality of upgrade. Please post pics if you've done this mod.
Thanks

unfortunately, it doesn't just bolt on, you actually have to do some work to get it to fit.

Here's what you have to do...

Here it is, installed on my brother in law's old 2008 GT

Blacksmoke did it on his 2006 GT. PM him for tips, he managed to get it to fit correctly(ish). Personally I felt there is too much that doesn't line up correctly so went with a CDC chin spoiler. Cerveni offers the GT500 style splitter made specifically for the GT bumper...might be more money but it's better than other Mustang owners being able to see how imperfect a part fits on your car. And we all know we can spot stuff like that from a mile away. lol But if you can figure out how to get it right, you'll be happy with the results.

Hey everyone just wanted to give you an update. I got it done and I have to say it makes the car look so much more aggressive. I went with the splitter because my car is so low I would scrap up any other chin spoiler. I'm very happy with the results and install was a breeze. I'll post pics later. and p.s I got the splitter for $20 so I had to do it.

Great job, it really completes the whole look you have going! And for $20, you'd have to be crazy not to at least try!
