Default 2013-2014 style Hood

I wonder if I'm the only person who thought it would pretty cool to get the new hood from the 13-14 mustangs for the 05-09. besides near the front valance, what's the real difference in the dimensions of the hood?

Take another look at the picture you linked.

Notice the front of the hood where it meets up with the top of the grille? Very different from the 2005-09 which was longer and extended over that area. Can't take the 2013 hood and make it fit the 2005-09 since you will have a big gap at the front.

Not to mention it would not latch which would be an issue at speed

Yeah I figured as much, but anyone making hoods of that style for the 05-09?

I wish they had them too. I've been thinking about just getting a stock 05-09 hood and trying to modify it to put the vents in it. I don't need anything fancy.

If you know a good shop you can just have them cut holes and install the SuperSnake vents for less than a new hood.

@CMcNam if you did that I would more than love to see it! And @Ricardo I'm not a huge fan of the super snake vent it's just not the same, but that could be a way to go
