Fill emblem holes with minimal touch up

Fill emblem holes with minimal touch up
So, I have an 08 GT, with GT fender emblems. I know how to remove them (plenty of threads on that subject), but I'm looking for ideas on how to fill and paint/hide the holes with as little paint blending as possible. In other words, I want to do micro surgery without sanding a several inch wide area and blending paint.
Here's why: I plan to add the Boss 302 '69 C stripes. Now I'm not sure if the stripes or letters will end up covering the holes but there is a good chance that at least part of a hole will not end up covered, so I need to be prepared for that. I know there are other stripes that will cover them, but I'm going after a very specific look. I may be having my own stripes made because I have not yet found any that look exactly right.
So here are my thoughts so far: I figure I need to back up the hole with something before filling with Bondo of something similar. I need to find the best way to get access to the back side of the fender. I haven't investigated that much yet but perhaps I just need to remove the inner wheel well skirt behind the front tires? Any Ideas? For backing up the holes, I'm thinking glueing something like a dime (or bigger) behind each hole. Any Ideas? Then, is Bondo the best thing to use to fill the holes? I only want to fill the hole, no sanding around the hole. I then want to just touch up only the area were the holes were, and try to hide by micro smoothing/clear coating/buffing, something of that nature. Maybe masking around each hole and spray painting with a can or air brush? Any Ideas?
I figure since this is a 2008 car with original paint with its 7yrs of small scratches, it doesn't need to be perfect. I just don't want it to be noticeable from say 10 feet away.
Any Ideas, experience, or links would be much appreciated. Thanks
