Are those simply taped or have studs on the back THROUGH the fender ?

The GT emblem has both, 2 studs and 3M tape.

Luckily though it appears the two posts (one small and round and the other a bit bigger and oval shaped) are located near the center of the emblem. This makes it easy to cover the holes with virtually any other emblem (in my case Shelby GT-350 emblems). Just thought you should know.

Thanks 351..............I had something custom in mind but that's too small most likely to
cover those holes.

WHY IN THE WORLD did Ford go back to studded emblems in the age of 3M tape ?

My 1995 and 1999 both had 3M backing and was SOOO easy to remove (or reattach if desired)
