OK now I'm really confused. I was told the tuners out on the market today can only be used on one car only. True or NOT? If not, why is it my friend said his tuner can't be used on any other car but his (VIN burn-in when first connected), It really doesn't matter because I will be the only one using it. If not, maybe I can use it on my 4.6 Exploder, which would be totally cool.

Anyway, someone please help me out on this. I know what the MFG will tell me , only 1 vehicle, because they want to sell 2 units otherwise.

 

You can only tune one vehicle. But you can power it up, scan codes and clear codes on multiple vehicles.

 

trust me dougs tunes are the best. he will help you out, dont worry he is a good guy and i never heard any complaints about him.

 

Doug from Bamachips is sending me another unit overnight mail, he said the conector must be bad. It's not his fault, if there is any blame it's Sct, he didn't make the unit he just puts his program in. He has done everthing he could to resolve the problem. I have no beef with him whatsoever,things happen, its just my luck I get one thats bad, the next 1,000 are probably good. So please don't judge this exprience and not buy from Doug ,he has been great. My car still runs I just have to wait an extra day for the tune, no big deal!
