I had maybe 200 miles on my new ride and was cruising down the highway coming up next to a truck with tons of tool cabinets mounted to it. They were all secured shut with crank down straps. Right as I'm coming up next to him, one of the heavy metal hooks breaks free and does this big old arc over the truck almost lands right on top of my hood. Fortunately I was a few feet too far back and it hit the road and ended up skipping and sparking behind him. Lucked out on that one.

 

Yup, 200 feet on trucks. They're kicking up so much off the road anyway. Now you can follow a 59 caddy pretty close but even a Toyota Rav4... ....keep it back a bit if you're in the same lane (which you probably won't be for long (lol))
