Anybody got a Deluxe model GT with the standard single CD radio installed? Curious if it looks the same as the shaker 500. Please post a pic if it looks different.

I have the standard in mine. It looks the same, has an Aux button, and the stereo doesn't sound bad. I ordered the car that way because I knew I was going to install better equipment anyway.

 

It does sound great and I ordered mine that way because I had heard it beforehand I wanted the clean door panels.

 

Shaker 1000 for me baby, for 2 reason, it goes boom boom under warranty, and you get the bigger alternator with it!

 

Hey fairlane292, could you post a picture of your door? I'm kinda interested to see what the door looks like without the sub in it.

Yeah, see how sweet that door is. When I first test drove a black GT w/tan a year ago; the speaker has the tan plastic outer ring and then the big charcoal center; looks really bad on the parchment interior I wanted. It looked like *** and it appeared to be designed after an old WWII tank drive gear or something. Anyway, after searching around I found a stripped down V6 w/std radio and I was thrilled to see the door panel. Hell, I would have gone radio delete to get those door panels.
