in the video you see the suspension get pre-loaded before the burn. you can't mash the brake and gas all while popping the clutch, if it was a stick you would have seen the rear tires start to go then the brake lights come on, and the brake lights would have gone off when he shifted, but since it is an auto he can stand on the brake all day and spin them.

yeah you can, it's called the heel-toe burnout. Heel goes on the brake, toe goes on the gas, and then the left foot on the clutch. then pop the clutch and switch feet.
