Roll Bar for Convertible

Roll Bar for Convertible
Ok, so I was reading the NHRA rules, and to run mid 13's with a convertible you have to have a 'rollbar'...
I'm somewhat of a newbie to NHRA convertible rules, so I'm really not sure what qualifies as a rollbar and what doesn't. I know lightbars aren't rollbars.
I found this link: http://www.ioportracing.com/Merchant...ory_Code=AP262
And they offer various rollbars, and I'm just not sure what I'd need.
Would I just need a 'Street Roll Bar', or a 'Race Roll Bar', or a 'Street-Sport Roll Bar', or what?
I've been researching this for a while, and I really don't want to go to the track, make 1 run, and be told I can't come back until I have a bar.
Thanks for any info.

RE: Roll Bar for Convertible
I don't know what the NHRA rules require for you to run in the 13's, but I too have been trying to find out all options for a roll bar in the 05/06 mustang. Most bars look pretty crappy from an overall perspective. I mean I want something that looks good for the 95% of the time I'm driving around with the top down. I've been having conversations with Lisa at Classic Design Concepts about if they plan to offer a "performance" version of their light bar. She said they are checking into it. Please contact her to let you know you are interested as well. If they don't, I plan on designing one myself that attaches to the "B" pillar like their light bar does and then bolts behind the seat. Don't expect much feedback from folks here on the forum, because my previous posts on this issue have gone unanswered. I'll let you know what I come up with, and hopefully you will do the same. Good Luck!
