Probably going to order the C&L Cold air and xcal2 from brenspeed tomorrow...

I have heard nothing but awesome things from them from you guys. And you all seem to talk to Brent... Do I just call up and ask for him directly?

I called last week and Brent answered the phone. HE is AWESOME to deal with.

Just to let you know. The intakes are on BACKORDER from the manufacturer, so, Brent told me that he hopes to have them in late this coming week, He stated he already has my tuner programmed for my car, and is just waiting on the intakes to come in. So be prepared to wait a while.

Brent also told me, that if I have ANY problems while installing, to call him and he would personally walk me through it... I wish this level of customer service existed all over the US..

John

How is it not cool! He never said he was buying it from them! He said maybe! Plus if you could save $100 wouldn't you? Plus he could use that extra money for 3 tanks of 93 Octane for my super tune!

It'd be one thing to try to steal the customer in private. It's another to announce it in a thread.

Im 50/50 on this.

One one hand it seems unbusinesslike to try to steal a sale.

On the other hand that is the American way. I would have preferred Fred just send a private email so we dont think he's trying to steal a customer.

But that's what competition is all about. Fred is on the forum and Brent isnt. Nothing wrong with businesses beating down my door to offer me a better deal.

I agree but competitors, let's be tasteful about the way we solicit.

I dont think there is anything wrong with him sending him a pm and letting him know there is other options and tuners out there that are cheaper and in my opinion better than brenspeed who are getting too much credit and advertisment just because people hear about them on the forum with out actually trying alternatives. I have posted in this forum a previous post and i was one of the people who tried 3 diffrent tuners (Brenspeed ,Sct and evoperformance and in my testing and my opinion i found fred@evoperformance to be really the best both in price and in power after trying his amazing tune.
