I just ordered my Aggressive Borla Axel Backs from Dallas Mustang on Thursday. I will get them in the middle of next week. I'll let you know how they run. I've seen some videos of people with axel back and catback borla systems, and they are sick!
Well, as we'd say in Georgia, "Sheeyet Fahr!" I didn't realize we had such a place as Dallas Mustang up here in the Metroplex! Me thinks I will mosey my bohunkus over there tomorrow and haves me a look!!![sm=icon_rock.gif]

i woudlnt remove the cats... just gut them so when your inspected they THINK you have them... obviously they will sound better and louder, but for all the inspectors know the noise is probably from the mufflers--- apparently they dont know much--- and get glasspacks if you want it loud! lol... or SLP's those sound quite nice...

Yea, Dallas Mustang is great for getting what you need, and they are total badasses when it comes to mustangs in general. They are just a little pricy when it comes to labor, but the work is top notch.

So to clarify you got the cat back not the axle back? On borla web site they call it aggressive. I want to do something with my exhaust but don't want to have problems with the law. Are they really loud when you get on it?
Thanks
Greg

I got the axel back borlas. They have a "standard" axel back and an "aggressive" axel back. The agressive has smaller designed mufflers from what I could tell, and they are louder than the "standard" axel back. I should be picking them up in about 4-5 days and get them on next weekend. I also ordered the C&L + tuner kit from brenspeed, and the quicklifts for the hood from redlinetuning. Those will be my next weekend's project. First mods for me to do on my own...ever

Has anyone tried the Summit Racing mufflers yet? If they have, how are they? How is the drone effect?

For the money and for the sound, SLP Loudmouth is the way to go. By the way, how can you lose HP with a wide open pipe?
