Ok......now I'm gonna sound like a total noob. But how do you latch your hood closed gently without giving it a little slap down? I'm curious because my clueless @$$ hasn't figured out how to do it. lol
I try to maneuver the yellow latch with my fingers to let the hood down easy but my fingers always get hung up trying. What am I doin wrong?
The hood on my 98 was always pretty finicky and wouldn't go down without a nice little slam......so I never thought to do otherwise on my 05. Fortunately, I haven't gone under the hood too many times (yet) and I've never slammed it hard cuz I know that's not a good habit.
