i messed up
I bought the CDC quarter window louvers and I just got them back from the paint shop...
It wasnt til I got home that I noticed that they didnt paint the underside of them... So looking from the inside out they would look like crap and unfinished....
So my bright idea was take the extra black auto spray paint that I had and spray paint the backside real quick.... It was a fantastic idea until I flipped them over and saw that the spray paint went on the other side... now the show side looks a lil dull... is there a way I can buff that out or something????

RE: i messed up
Try A LITTLE BIT of laquere or paint remover. Dont let it sit long. Just dab and try a small area and see if it works. Was in California ,Beverly Hills area for work and someone thought to spray paint my trailer. The owner of the shop gave me some laquere to remove the spray paint and it worked. Did NOTHING the to paint on the trailer!! The only thing, the spray paint was only on for about 3-4 hours. Hope it will work for you!!
If not, take them back and ask if they ran out of paint??..

Do not use lacquer thinner or paint remover; both are way too agressive for this situation. I would try isoprophyl alcohol on cotton *****. Then hand buff with Maguires polish. If still slightly dull you will need a detailer to polish for you; the key is to not ruin your clearcoat, at least then the detailer can get it back to glassy smooth. ...Jim
