I know most people won't care, but I just got my Black 2006 Mustang GT w/ Red Leather. It is the best thing I ever bought in my life. I thought about modifing the car, but after driving and looking at it... I think the only thing I'm going to do is engine mods. One thing, I smell alittle burning smell when I drive. I have a manual so I'm assuming its me burnin the clutch a little or is it common when you get a new car and their are certain smells, figure the car is working itself out.[sm=gears.gif]

 

Congrats! That and the new exhaust and just the gaskets on the engine burning in. I only have 650 miles and still smell it after a ride putting it in the garage. Weather just getting better here in Mich.

That smell is usually the oils / grease from the exhaust burning off. But just take a once over on the car to ensure your peice of mind.

 

congrats. I agree with you. I am going to keep the mods just for some power but want to keep it looking stock. I like my rims that came on it. exhaust(headers, xpipe, catback), CAI w/ Tune, FRPP suspension,hood struts and sound system(I am going to keep the stock stereo and probably get that JL cleansweep module) is all I am going to do.
