I just placed the order for my GT premium convertible. Manual trans, 18" wheels, interior upgrade, airbag option, wheel lockss, convertible boot, and antitheft system. White with Dark charcoal. They had a similar color Saleen 281 in the showroom; pretty nice. (though the two Ford Gt's were the real eye-catchers).

I decided to "keep" the spoiler; they had a "spoilerless" ragtop at the dealer and it looked like it was missing something.

Salesman said 6 weeks or so. I quizzed him on it in view of the previous posts about 6 weeks really being 10 weeks. He said his most recent ordered GT arrival came 5 weeks after ordering. Oh well. I'm in no hurry.

If there is anything "bad" I should no about the anthitheft system or anything else in the order, let me know; I still have some time to change it. But I have done my homework and I think I am good to go.

Axlebacks and a clear bra should round out my short term "mods."

congrats on the order.....but be prepared to wait a long time....I ordered mine feb 7th.(vista blue Gt deluex with interior upgrade) and have yet to be given a build date. i think people that have ordered manuals have been waiting longer but don't quote me on that....i have no idea how they do things there.

Well my order went in on 3/29 and we got a build date of 5/29 (GT ragtop). That will mean 10 weeks or more in total. Dealer is pissed and is trying to get them to push it up. I am disappointed but not surprised, as I was forewarned.

 

I ordered mine on 3/25 and no build date yet.

 

Billits or Fan blades.
I have the Anti-theft and don't notice it's there. I pretty much have the same car, but Vista blue and auto with Fan blades. Interior and all options same.

Congrat's. The only thing I would change is the boot for the top is not worth it.,Got mine in July 05 and have not even taken it out of the plastic bag yet. The way the top is made you dont need the boot when driving. The tops hard front edge folds on top and keeps every thing in place. Just my opinion, no matter what ENJOY!
