Yeh, I talked to the guys at Steeda about the Panhard bar. They said that Ford has a quarter inch offset from factory and not to center it perfectly. So, keep that in mind if you're going to lower your's...

Hmmm... first I've heard of an intentional offset. Does a 1/4" offset mean that one side is out 1/4" more than the other? If that's the case it's really a shift of 1/8", making one side further outward 1/4" more than the other. I can't imagine what purpose such a fine adj would have and why wouldn't the vehicle be engineered to have the wheels centered in the wheelwells in the first place; As I sometimes say, "we put men on the moon over 30years ago..." ...can we just have the wheels centered in the wheelwells? Anyway, thanks for the info; I'm not changing mine yet but lets see what tech info can come out on this. ...Jim

P.S. I'd love to see some folks who are running stock 17"s and no lowering to measure L & R and report their results; I have this feeling we'd get a pretty good variance, but it would be great to collect the info.
