I wanted to try different color lights in the dome lights. But I can't seem to get it off. I searched the forum and found posts that said there were 2 clips, on on each side. Use a screw driver to gently push them in to release the assembly. I have the active anti-theft system and as such have the motion sensors in the dome assembly as well. Does that change how to take them off?

It is attached like that to protect you from sudden urges to rice out your car. Such as putting in colored dome lights.
