I have the same issue. I do not think it is worth the bother of a special trip to the dealer. Will be bringing it up at my next oil change, is this a known problem ?

change the light bulb or check the relay that turns it on. don't waste your time at the dealer, unless you're into that kind of stuff

lol, I paid for that darn warranty. I squeeze every cent out of it, even if it's something I could investigate and do myself. [sm=grinangel.gif]

Uh sorry guys but do take it to the dealer.

My trunk light did not work at all. Took it in and they found the bulb is okay, it was something in the "smart Moduale" that was screwing it up. They had to replace my "smart Moduale" (thats what they called it). Now I have daytime driving lights as I think they forgot to turn that feature off when installing it as I never had them and none of the 05-06 mustangs here have daytime driving lights but mine does now! I'm sure that smart moduale wasn't cheap to replace and it was nice to have it done under warrenty. It fixed something else I didn't know was wrong. My alarm setting was causing the headlights to flash along with the car beeps. Reading the manual it wasn't supposed to do that. New moduale stopped that. So please do have it checked out as it may turn into a bigger deal than you think it is!
