Really nice technique. Keep it up and it will be outstanding. I like the change in direction of the graphite strokes. (following the contours of the car) I too was an art major. I can't really draw anymore because of getting into computers 12 years ago. LOL I have a BFA in painting. Haven't picked up a brush since I graduated college back in '94.

Hey maybe you can draw a Camaro for GM that actually looks like a first generation Camaro of a car that looks like Kit (from knight rider) humped a Cadillac and produced an offspring.

Fairlane292,

I think your car would be pretty tough because it's black but I might give it a shot. Send me some really good quality digital pics of the view that you'd want drawn. I have to finish mine first but I think you're right, I'd probably have fun with the flames.

I was also looking at the thread that asks everyone to post a pic of their car for some kind of contest. I think on page two, there's a beautiful car. It's Nick Brace's car!! I'm thinking about drawing that one too. I'm also supposed to be drawing my cousin's 95 GT vert. and my brother's 03 GT vert. but neither of those slackers have gotten me any pics yet.

Not being real picky at this point for any reason. If anyone might REALLY, REALLY be interested in me drawing their car and buying the signed original, feel free to email me some pics. At this point, I'm still drawing these pics for me (my collection). We'll see if it goes anywhere from here. Thanks for all the response.

Sleeper05,

Thank you for the pointers. As stated in a previous post on this thread, the spoiler and the whole top half of the car is not done yet. I hope that you all like the final product. I'll post it as soon as it's finished.

my only complaints ;

1. different angle
2. Where is the GT emblem on the side?
3. I know it makes it more complicated, but a drawing of something personal, yet common, like a car, or boat, or bike, etc., should contain some sort of addition that projects the owners personality. Be it an animal of some sort, or place, something that signifies to them what there car also represents. Again I know its a copletely different kinda drawing, but just thought I would through it out there.
4. Other than that it looks awesome.

Thanks Black06stang. I kinda maybe picked up on that too. None the less, criticism is still welcome.

All, about that tire. I thought it was a weird angle too and I thought about changing it and probably should have but if you look at the front tire vs back tire in the actual picture, they are at different angles. I think there must have been a slight hill that the front tire ended up on when I parked my ride there.

I also agree about the front angle being a better one than this one but since it was my first attempt at drawing a stang, I decided to go with a view that was a little easier. The next one will definitely be a front/side view.

The wheels look a little out-of-round, but otherwise it is very good work!
