Default tune problem

SCT Xcalibur 2 / JLT2 intake / 93 octane tune from evolution

Since I installed the intake and added the 93octane tune I have put on new wheels and rims... 255/35/20...

Do I have to change that parameter somewhere on the sct?

Also does the tune turn off the speed govenor that limits us to around 147mph?
I was reading a car and driver article that said we are limited to 147mph but if the governor was removed that we would be pushing 160+...

Seeing as how I have only hit 135mph I dont know how much is tru...

The X-cal can be set to your tire size. I have the X-cal 1 and it has to be set to revolutions per mile. Basic math. And you can remove the speed limiter with it as well.

Make sure you warn me when you try your top speed without the limiter.[8D]

So is the tuner required when going to larger tires? Not is it recommended but is it required??

No, not required, but if the revs per mile of your new tires differ greatly from stock, your speedo is going to be off. As will your odo. You'll wonder why the cop is telling you you were doing 80 when your speedo said only 70!

Ok so then i can correct this with a Tuner then. SCT is the choice i plan on making at some point.
