Default replacing fake chrome?

one thing that really bothers me is fake chrome, which almost brought me to not even buying this car

i really cannot stand the fake chrome rings around the a/c and the one that goes around the guages (if i am not clear, check the attatchment)

i was wondering it there are any aftermarket replacements for these that are made out of real metal, they dont even have to be chrome

thanks

I didn't know you can chrome plastic........

On that note, go to a machine shop, get them replicas made out of aluminum, and get them chromed. That would probably be a good few hundred bucks.
