Tik_Tok, we've had our online battles but thanks for the help. Now if I put the high-flow cats when I get the Hooker L/T's will I need to do any cutting/welding? From what I know isn't the Hooker X-Pipe and L/T headers a combined exact fitment?

Thanks
Don't know about the Hookers, my SLP L/t's xpipe and cats all fit together perfectly without any welding reuired.

Yeah, but if you wanted you wouldn't be able to eliminate the cats and make it o/r. Isn't that correct?

My cousin works at a muffler shop and on my pickup, late one night in the shop, we just cleaned all the crap out of the cat with a steel bar and high RPMs on the lift until they were empty containers. Looked like a cat, smelled like a cat, did not sound like a cat. No emmissions testing so no big deal.

Sound was great

I think high-flow cats is my answer, so i'll be adding them along with my Hurst Shifter next week.

Sure I can, just unbolt the clamps and stick some straight pipes in.

wow thats a great setup, i didnt realize slp made a l/t x-pipe combo that had the cats. it is exactly what i was looking for. i just have one question: do the cats hang down from the underbody very much? i am concerned with this because i was planning on putting eibachs prokit lowering springs on. if the cats hang down i will have to reconsider this setup.

do you have any measurements or pics of how far they hang down past the pipe?
thanks
Ty
