Default Fuse Box switched power supply?

I asked this on the Audio forum but not much traffic over there.

Is there a slot in the fuse box that is switched? (turns on and off with ignition)

I'm trying to hook up the remote turn on wire for an amp. I know I can pull the shaker 500 head unit and connect to that wire, but I'm trying to avoid pulling the HU just to splice into a wire.

Is there another switched wire I can splice into that's easier to get at?

Thanks,

Steve

Use a test light on each fuse until you find the one that does. I know there will be one in there.

Fuse slot #5 in the passenger side kick panel is switched. I used it to power my sat radio.
