That is one crazy car!

In California, I saw a guy on a Harley, who was towing one of those box trailer things that was at least 3-4x the size of his bike.

You also need to get a complete set of mud flaps and roof rack to complete the look.

I'm about to put a hitch on MY silver gt for the exact same reason. I'm a dedicated mountainbiker, and a hitch is the only way to go. What would all you flamers prefer? A trunk rack strapped down to the bumper? How bout a permanently attached roof rack, so you can drop the bike putting it on? I bought this car because it is the best out there in high performance with daily versatility. That means I can fit my bass guitar and gear in when the band's playing, or I can drop the seats and put my mountain bike in the trunk for the after work ride. Yep, IN the TRUNK. And no scratches on the car! Next time somebody bitches about the small trunk, I'll post pics of a bicycle in mine. fast and versatile! What a concept!

The hitch looks good. Now I know which one to get. Thanks for the pics.

Last night my dad stuck his mountainbike in the trunk with no problems, and he put a 1/2" thick piece of foam under the contact areas and nothing was hurt. I didn't really agree with that method, but it all worked out fine. The bike was sticking at about 1-2 feet, but we live right next to mountains so it's like a 1 minute drive tops lol (the old man looks for every chance he gets to drive that stang', that's why he didn't just ride his bike there lol)

LoL, I don't understand what peoples problems are...

It looks fine! Don't worry about what the people here say, its your car, do as you wish.

PS - I use to tow a boat with my camaro :-)

Ok I'm gonna revive an old thread. Anyone want to post pics of hauling bicycles with thier Mustangs? I'm curious because I'm about to have this problem when I buy another Mustang and want to haul two bicycles with as little effect on the car as possible.

Will two bikes fit with the seat folded down and the front wheels removed from the bikes??

Bikes are for riding, not hauling....
Stangs are for driving, not hauling bikes....
Maybe a tow truck to tow the stang with the
bikes on a rack on the back of the stang?
And a pair of rollerskates in the basket on
the bike on the back of the stang being towed
by the tow truck being towed by yet another
tow truck?
Rent the bikes once you arrive at your biking
destination in your stang.....

I say shoot all the idiots who think you should be shot for adding a hitch to your car..

It's your car, do as you please. When those idiots who don't like it start paying your car payment or buy you an SUV to haul the bikes..then listen to them. Until then tell them to F@ck off. Just $0.02 worth...
