Yeah. Some people don't believe that the info center isn't accurate, but I believe it is very accurate.
My calculations versus info center have been off by no more than .200 MPG. Whether I'm off or the info center is off, its still not bad!

I find my info center is nearly as accurate as doing the math on what it takes between fill-ups.
I should add I'm now at 7 months and 2,670 miles so it should get even better.

I've been keeping track of my past fillups and mine's been getting 23.449 MPG, 25.541 MPG (approx 80% hwy), 22.544 MPG, 23.241 MPG, and my most recent fillup 22.851 MPG.
I just put in a K&N and I'm getting some increased MPG numbers. In my current tank full, my info center has indicated 24.1 MPG with approximately 65% highway driving.
I ordered a DiabloSport so I'm waiting for that to come in.

Jeez....I've never been under 17...then again I've never been over 23 so... I'm seeing a great variation in the numbers here. I wonder how much of that has to do with driving style and how much with the individual car. I wouldn't think there could be a large difference in fuel economy for different (stock) GTs driving under the same conditions, but I couldn't possibly imagine a stock GT getting under 15 while babying it...unless you leave it idling in the driveway for half an hour a day. What gives...cuz I'm still wondering where my 25mpg highway is at.

I have no mods and range from 18 to 22 Houston traffic. Mine is a little over a month old and 3500 miles. Mileage does seem to be getting a bit better, probably as the tune gets used to the way I drive. I love to buty the pedal though....

RE: Averaging 21.3 overall mpg, WOW!!
If I sum up all my MPG averages, my Stang is getting around 23 MPG combined city/highway.
I drive as efficiently as I can, especially around the city, but every once in a while I'll give it some gas.
I mostly shift at low rpms and do a lot of coasting whenever there's a hill or a downgrade.
These are some things that I also do, for example, if I'm at a long traffic light (and believe me, the traffic lights in Florida seem to take eternity) I shut off the engine. Same goes if I'm at a drive thru (i.e. bank, fast-food, etc.) because they say that if you're not going to be moving for more than a minute, its more economical to shut off the car.
The worst are railroad x-ings or traffic accidents, if you know you're not going to be moving for a long time, just shut it off because your just burning up fuel for nothing.
One thing that I've noticed that a lot of people do, one of my biggest pet peeves, is pump the gas pedal, or what I call pedal pumpers and tappers. I hate that and it drives me crazy. [:@]
I'm sure you've ridden with someone who does this so thats why I volunteer to drive rather than ride!
That kind of driving will definitely give you really crappy MPG.
I hope none of you are those types of drivers.
