What most likely happened was that you might have either gone too fast or hit a bunch of water and the splash guards ripped off. Or both.
I got the ones from Ford and noticed that the top hole for the screw was way too large. I had to use metal washers to hold the things on.
I had to get the rear splash guards because even in dry weather there is always some water in the gutters in some areas and it loves to splash up on the rear quarter panel. Especially with the large rear tires we have!
Has anyone painted theirs body color?

The trunk release doesn't come on the Thing-a-maFob. It only comes on the clicker-majigger.
