Well, tell dad you can learn this lesson in a book, and to lighten up a little. The rates won't go up , and you'll pay more attention next time.
and.. wait why can't you or / your insurance fight with the ladies' insurance? If hers don't pay, then pay yourself, it still will have no affect on your premiums.

The other traffic on the main road always has the right of way when you are leaving a parking lot. Always be careful of the other lanes because they have no idea some nice lady is waving you out.
Right, on bumper cover if not cracked, punctured, split (meaning just gouged or scraped) it can be easily repaired for less than the cost of shipping. ...this is why I was asking about it. Even takeoffs aren't cheap and you can add $100 or more to ship.
I get hit in the rear bumber about a month ago and they wanted about $700 dolars to fix a tiny little scratch. When we got insurance involved (because originally the guy who hit me wanted to pay for it out of pocket, but changed his mind when he saw the cost) the factory realized it didn't need ALL of the work they originally thought it was gona need. Dropped the price down to $350. Either way, that was just a scratch so I would imagine it's gona be in the $1500 price range.
beside my stang i have a 04 ranger edge 4x4. my wife was driving it a slide into a ditch during a ice starm back in dec. it tore off the bottom of the bumper down where the fog lights mount and broke a tranny cooler line. out total bill was 1275.00. this was at the best body shop around. if you went after market lets just say a roush front end 640.00 + 150.00 truck shipping + 600.00paint if bodyshop installs 4-6 hours labor 60-80 dollars per hour depending where you live your looking at 1500-1700.00. just est off the top of my head. sorry to see that happen to such a nice mustang best of luck
