I too removed the GT emblem and replaced it with pony tri bars. Did it long before the pony package was offered by Ford.

I too removed the GT emblems; don't like badges; guess I'll never own a Roush or Saleen. Car does not say GT or Mustang or Ford. ...only pony on center caps and steering wheel center. NO LETTERING THANK YOU!!!

I'm considering taking my GT off. (Mostly because it's a wax catcher and hard to clean) If I replace it with anything, it'll be painted on or sticker. Maybe a tri-bar. I Liked the "Road Kill" I may go w/ "Bogus Boss" or some such... Or nothing

I'd take the GT badge off and leave it clean if there weren't holes behind it. [:'(]

I think it matches the same holes. I can't see them stamping a different fender for the V6.

IMO removing the badge is like removing the stars from a general's shoulders.

i agree with mike hawk, i dont see why they would have 2 different hole locations, but they might. i ordered some tri bars off of ebay, they are then 05+ oem from ford, in the package for $40.

http://cgi.ebay.com/2005-2006-FORD-M...QQcmdZViewItem

they should be here this week, i let ya know how they fit.
