Um.. just wondering something but, Ive seen a few pictures of 05/06 GT's on here (they have the fog lamps) but then no lettering on the side, just either nothing or the pony. Am I missing something or did someone take off their GT and/or replace it with the pony. And if they did replace it.... lol... why?! IMO the GT looks alot better than the little pony thing on the side.

OOOOO well that explains alot then. I always thought that all new ones that had fog lamps were GTs. That kinda stinks, I think I would have wanted to have them place the fog lights somewhere else, like on the lower part of the bumper... just so that the GT would remain unique. eh well [sm=smiley13.gif]

 

The Pony Package (V6) fog lights look very different from the GT's. The Pony Package ones are smaller and have chrome rims, that connect to a chrome 'corral' around the pony emblem on the grill. However, I do know that some V6 owners, mostly from 05 (since they didn't offer the Pony Package until 06) have installed GT grills with the fogs. Still, that's probably about as common as a GT owner taking off the GT badge, which I've also seen. But the Pony Package fogs are very different, very easy to spot, so I doubt they're what you're talking about.

 

O ok, thanks. I was just confused from the pics. Dunno why anyone would take off the GT emblem though, I like it better than the old one.

i bought tri bar ponys to REPLACE the GTs. i think they look much better. plus there is already one on my steering wheel. i like em to match.

I didn't like the GT emblem so I took it off
and replaced it with something "different" : [sm=exactly.gif]

 

They could be 4.0's with the front and rear bumpers too.

 

My 06 GT sports the Pony on the fenders and the back.... Its all about history!!! And its a better look!!! JMO
