Tint on rear windows, but not front?

RE: Tint on rear windows, but not front?
Even if you're afraid to do the fronts, I would still do the back light in dark and the qtr's in at least medium. Tinting the back light will help fight interior fading and keep the temp down, so you'll run the a/c less in the summer, etc. Two door cars look OK, kind of like SUVs which almost always have the back windows and doors tinted but not the front doors. I don't think four door cars look too nice with only the rears tinted, but like I said coupes don't look too bad. And since the qtr window is always closed, it looks kind of streamlined when tinted anyway. You could always louver or scoop the qtrs if you decide you don't like the tint. I would still definately do the back light.
I live in NJ where no tinting is allowed at all on the front doors. I always put 20% all the way around and worry about tickets later. My feeling is, if I get a ticket, I peel the fronts, get the ticket dropped, and re-do the front doors later. They usually show wear eventually anyway from the windows always going up & down, so it doesn't bother me to re tint every so often.
