Pro 5.0 is good.

Pro 5.0 is good.
Installed it a couple weeks ago and it's starting to break in. Shifts feel really smooth and quite a bit shorter.
BUT.....
When I hit the brakes to slow down and shift into neutral, it's hard to move the shifter to the left and right (while braking). When the car is fully stopped, it moves easily left and right. However, that's if the car is on level ground. If I'm stopped on an incline or decline, it's also hard to move the shifter left or right from the center neutral position. It definitely feels as if something is rubbing on something. This problem is being caused by g-forces to the front and rear. Especially makes it harder to shift while slowing down.
Is anyone else with a Pro 5.0 shifter having this problem?

RE: Pro 5.0 is good.
Hmmm. Sounds like I should call Pro 5.0 about this. Does anyone else have any input on this issue?
The shifter unit is not loose because I can't pull it up or down. I wonder if this has something to do with the actual transmission. Maybe it's loose and is going to fall out of the car soon!!! I hope not...

RE: Pro 5.0 is good.
If the Pro 5 is anything like the Tri Ax, then the difficulty moving the shift handle right or left could be the stiffness of the shifter bushing. On the Tri Ax, we have to leave the shifter nut quite loose. Its a locking type nut, so it wont fall off, but if you tighten it at all, its real tough to shift from 1st to 2nd, and from 5th to reverse. Even after loosening the nut, it stil took mine a couple thousand miles to feel right. Now its only slightly tough to go through the gears. And if I dont lightly pull the shifter to the left from 1st to 2nd, it goes right in to 4th! Did that last week right in front of the house with the neighbors watching. Very embarrassing. [:@]
