OK, I'm an idiot. I just realized the "switch" is not a manual switch but rather an automatic switch that automatically recognizes when the top is up/down. That makes perfect sense now.

And regarding the wind guard... I would LOVE to see pics of this. I have heard about them but never seen them. Seems like a GREAT mod for those with the light bar already.

Pics anyone???

Anyone put this on an 07? The CDC website only says that it fits 05-06. I cant see there being much difference but you never know.

Thanks for the link. It looks very functional and I may consider it. Curious, what is in this picture below... has someone fabricated a back seat cover of sorts to make the mustang look more like a roadster (2-seater).

Here it is on an 07. I had one on an 05 and an 06 and installation is the same for all.

That's correct. About the switch I mean, not about you being an idiot I zip-tied the electronic switch to the top motor wires behind the back seat.

See post 7 above, that's mine and it is an 07. In fact, the bar was originally in my 05 V6 and I moved it to my GT when I bought it. The bar mount and trim panels are identical from 05 through 07.
