I'm still pinging at high rpms with the 93 octane SCT x2 tune + JLT CAI setting and different brands of gas.

Guess I've got two choices:

1. Change back to 91 octane tune and lose timing all the way around.

or

2. retard the timing 2deg at 4K+ rpm with the tuner.

Ive heard it both ways; which one?

Either back out of the timing (more than 2ยบ) or run higher octane. 102 unleaded with cats VP110 without.

Actually I meant back it down in 2 deg increments until it stops.

It has to use everyday pump gas I/Wife can get at any gas station.
