Default 2006 Mustang GT Performance?

I would like to do some upgrades on my Mustang, such as Airaid intake and tuner. Dealership states this will void warranty, any suggestions.

From what I understand the dealer cannot void your warranty because of some magnus-moss thing. I think its spelled something like that.

Follow your dealer around and take pictures until you have something you can blackmail him with, then do a 400HP nitro-shot.

Dealer cannot cancel your warranty unless he can prove you have damaged your vehicle with that part. Its all bullshi*

the only way the air intake is going to void the warranty is if you run the engine too lean because of it or if you have too much oil on it and it ruins the MAF. Get one with a dry filter like AEM and get the fuel curve reprogrammed. My dealer tells me it will not void the warranty. He told me to reprogramm it back to stock when I take it into the dealer.

Is it better to use a Tuner or by a performance chip?

Your dealership employees are smoking too much crack, tell them the cure for it is buying a car someplace else should they void your warranty for installing something it's your legal right to install. By the way, THEY CAN'T VOID your warranty, they can only refuse to work on it claiming it's void, you can then explain to them that the Magnuson-Moss Act was passed to protect you from dealers who talk out their a$$.

US Code - Title 15, Chapter 50, Sections 2301-2312

Legally, a vehicle manufacturer cannot void the warranty on a vehicle due to an aftermarket part unless they can prove that the aftermarket part caused or contributed to the failure in the vehicle (per the Magnuson Moss Warranty Act (15 U.S.C. 2302(C)) . For best results, consider working with performance-oriented dealerships with a proven history of working with customers. If your vehicle manufacturer fails to honor emission/warranty claims, contact EPA at (202) 260-2080 or www.epa.gov. If federal warranty protection is denied, contact the FTC at (202) 326-3128 or www.ftc.gov.
Go to the link I provided, email it to your dealer while your at it.

Thanks for all the suggestions so far, as I will use this info to my advantage. As most of you can see I am relatively new to the performance talk and any other suggestions to get this 281 CI rocking will be of help. I will post pics fairly soon as I continue upgrades. I have changed the stock rims for 18x9 Kazera polished silver rims with Kuhmo Ecsta SPT 245x50x18 with a 24 mm offset. Wheel well is completely full. (2006 Satin Silver Coupe GT). Wheels look Crazy!!!!!!!
